People call it Rice Cake in Britain. It is sticky and could stretch very long.
In Japan, everyone knows Mochi. Mochi could be eaten in various ways. For example, you can coat Mochi with soy bean flour, Kinako, or dip in the soy sauce and grill to eat. Also, Mochi is customarily eaten in the winter. However, mochi could be served at various events, such as Kagami Mochi, which is 3 stacked mochi, to celebrate a new year in January, or Hishimochi, the rhomboidal shaped mochi, at Hina Matsuri, Girls Day, in March or Kashiwa Mochi, the one wrapped in an oak leaf, at Tango no Sekku, Boy's Day in May、etc.
Mochi is very essential in Japanese diet. Moreover, it is one of the major food in Japan.

Jolly Pasta
I went to Jolly Pasta recently. Jolly Pasta is a chain of Italian restaurant.
I often go to Jolly Pasta in Kumamoto Inter or Ooe with my friend. I had a bad experience at Jolly Pasta in Kumamoto Inter. Jolly Pasta is a fast food restaurant, so they serve foods fast. I and my friend ordered salad and ice-cream. But they made us wait for about 30 minutes. The attitude of waiters was very bad, too. They entertained us without smile.
But Jolly Pasta is a very cheap restaurant, so I think I will go again when I don't have much money.(102 words)

Fruit basket
When I was elementary school student, I played it. Fruit basket is very interesting game. I think fruit basket rule like musical chairs. I want to play those.
I will talk about fruit basket rule!!!!!
It sits by arranging the chair like yen for in. The number of chairs is reduced from one total of the participant. The demon stands in the yen. The name of several kinds of fruits is given to the sitting participant. (The team division such as the apple, mandarin oranges, and grapes as doing.)When the demon calls the name of a specific fruit, the person and the demon that is lucky of the name of the fruit sit standing up on other chairs. All members should sit standing up on other chairs and it substitute it when saying, the demon is "Fruit basket". It becomes impossible for other children to sit on a chair because of the number of chairs when the demon sits on the chair of the person who stood up and the demon alternates.
Moreover, the person who became it should do the punishment game to the demon...More than the frequency decided first...(191 words)

There is a medicine that can treat a lot of sicknesses, too. It cannot eat the meal of every day, and it is not possible to cure, and people yet who live poorly die as would be better to be able to be cured though they are sick. Why does such poverty happen? When considering poverty, we often mention the bad financial situation that our revenues are low. But poverty has many other problems.

1) Melt butter in a frying pan
2) Add chicken to the buttered pan and fry
3) Take out the chicken, add more butter and now add and fry vegetables.
4) Now add rice and break it up while mixing
5) Add ketchup. After it spreads through the whole mixture, add salt and pepper.
6) Finished.

3) Pour in the mixed egg into the pan
4) Using a long chopstick, make a soft-boiled egg by carefully drawing a circle

Udon!!!
I studied for test in the library. After that, I went to Kurodahan with my friends. Their names are Daisuke, Megumu, Hisashi, Tomohide. We are all good friends. When we were eating Udon, it was not cool. So we sweated. But, Kurodahan's Udon very delicious. When we had finished eating udon, it was over 00:00. Then, we got home respectively. Essay 1-02b:Breakfast
I will talk about breakfast. According to our survey, 93.8% of our subjects eat breakfast while 6.2% do not. Whether to eat breakfast or not seems to be affected by what time one may get up. The majority of those who eat breakfast get up between 6 and 7 o'clock while it is between 7 and 8 o'clock among non-eaters. Those who eat breakfast tend to eat supper between 7 and 8 o'clock in the evening while those skip breakfast tend to eat late between 9 and 10 o'clock at night. Time to get up and time to eat breakfast indicate different different daily life patterns. I eat breakfast every day. How about you?
However, the differences do not stop there.
Skipping breakfast is a contributing factor to obesity and stress. A research conducted by A. Clark at Kellog between 1988 and 1994 showed lower BMI among those eat breakfast. Further, the research also indicated particularly lower BMI among those east meat and eggs for breakfast.
In our current society where obesity has become a major health issue, these results suggest ways to reduce BMI and thus obesity. Skipping breakfast leads to increased amount of lunch and supper or sweets for snacks resulting in excessive energy intake. Also, longer period of empty stomach encourages our bodies to absorb more nutrients. Food gorging can also heighten blood sugar levels and, if continued, lead to diabetes.
Night owls should change their life styles by getting up and going to bed early. In order to switch the morning life style, supper should be finished before 9 in the evening and no more food intake should be allowed thereafter. Low fat items should be the main part of breakfast. For those who cannot eat sufficient quantity, diary products such as milk and yoghurt or vegetable juice may be a good start and gradually move to banana, toast, cornflakes, rice balls, boiled eggs all of which take longer to digest. Stay away from too much "sweets" such as Danish pastry.
Once you have gotten in the habit of eating breakfast, nutritional balance should be fine-tuned by adding Natto, grilled fish, boiled vegetable to the basic rice and miso soup(vegetable and tofu are highly recommended). Breakfast plays a very important role. Once stomach starts functioning, our bodies become aware that it is time to get moving.(390 words)

BR 1-13: Village in the Snow
The reason why I chose this book was it looked interesting. Because I like snow. Kumamoto seldom has snow. I long to snow.
When the children were playing, teacher said "Come on." Teacher read this book for a children.
The content teacher read is about village of snow. So children want to go there. Then Chip's magic key began to glitter. And they could jump into the book. In the snow village, when they had many snowball fights and slided over the snow in sleighs, they found a boy was thrown snowballs by the young villagers. They tried to help the boy, so they fighted with the villagers. As a result, the villagers lost. Chip's group won and they could help the boy. But the villagers chased them!!! And then, the magic key began to glitter again and they went back the Chip's house.
I like this book because this story is so fantastic and thrilling! I am goin to recommend this book to you. If you like fantastic stories, I am sure you will enjoy reading this story very much!

The reason why I chose this book is about dragon that I am interested in.

But dragon chased for them. Then the key bagan to glitter. So they got back to their house. They thought it was a dream. But the dragon run in the book. So they assured that it was truth.
This story is very interesting. If this story is true story, I'm not only scared but also I'm fun.

Isn't "Manner Mode" Enough?

Do you have a cell phone? With a cell phone, you can make phone calls wherever you are, send and receive e-mail, take photos and even play games. Cell phones are very useful. Now more than half of all Japanese people have a cell phone.
About ten years ago, when people started to use cell phones, there were no rules about how to use them in public places. Gradually, rules were made. In 2003, 17 railway companies in the Tokyo area started asking passengers to obey this simple rule: turn off cell phones near priority seats, and set them to silent mode in other places on the train. The next year, 20 railway companies in the Kansai area followed the Tokyo companies' example.
Now, many people switch their cell phones to silent mode on trains, but few people turn them off. They say, "The phone won't ring out loud, so it won't cause trouble to others. Sometimes I'm waiting for an emergency call. Isn't it enough to set my cell phone to silent mode?"
In fact, the answer is no. The electromagnetic waves from cell phones are dangerous for some people. Even if you do not make a phone call, a cell phone keeps generating electromagnetic waves unless you turn it off. A cell phone could cause the malfunction of medical devices such as pacemakers. Do you have a cell phone? With a cell phone, you can make phone calls wherever you are, send and receive e-mail, take photos and even play games. Cell phones are very useful. Now more than half of all Japanese people have a cell phone.
About ten years ago, when people started to use cell phones, there were no rules about how to use them in public places. Gradually, rules were made. In 2003, 17 railway companies in the Tokyo area started asking passengers to obey this simple rule: turn off cell phones near priority seats, and set them to silent mode in other places on the train. The next year, 20 railway companies in the Kansai area followed the Tokyo companies' example.
Now, many people switch their cell phones to silent mode on trains, but few people turn them off. They say, "The phone won't ring out loud, so it won't cause trouble to others. Sometimes I'm waiting for an emergency call. Isn't it enough to set my cell phone to silent mode?"
In fact, the answer is no. The electromagnetic waves from cell phones are dangerous for some people. Even if you do not make a phone call, a cell phone keeps generating electromagnetic waves unless you turn it off. A cell phone could cause the malfunction of medical devices such as pacemakers. My hometown
My hometown, Musashigaoka, is a wonderful, comfortable and funny. I am from Musashigaoka, a small city in the Kumamoto. First, Musashigaoka is a wonderful city that is surrounded by many store and nature. Now, Musashigaoka is economic development. Because there are many business places Youme town, Hikarinomori Station, Honda, Tokyo Electron etc. Second, Musashigaoka is famous foods are Basashi, carrot and tomato. It's are vey delicious. I was born in 1950 in the Independence city in Missouri State as three person brother's second son. I often played a trick at small time.
I loved playing basketball and continued from the elementary school to the high school. When I was a high school student, I became a captain. I feel that the compatibility of basketball with studying. And, we were possible to win the championship in the basketball at high school student end. I clearly still remember that.
I graduate from high school, I went to a higher school at Missouri state university in local. I made a real effort volunteer work. Also, I worked hard study to work at American Embassy that was the dream from small.
I married in 1978 and two children were born my children very cute. I was very happy. However, the affair occurred in 1983 after five years. When I was employed in a American embassy in Beirut on April 18.
A station wagon plunged into American embassy and the explosion event occurred.
241 people died and three my friends died. I was not able to believe that. We often went to drink alcohol by three people, talk over the complaint of our work, and did the barbecue on the weekend. My heart is pained when thinking of them. The affair was first suicide bomb attack, a lot of receive damage. I believe that nothing is more precious than human life. Now, terrorism and the war continue still. Why is there a meaning that continues the war and terrorism?
Recently, On September11, the nation suffered the largest loss of life-2,973-on its soil as result of terrorism attack in its history. The FDNY suffered 343 fatalities-the largest loss of life of any emergency response agency in history. The PAPD suffered 37fatalities-the largest loss of life any police force in history. The NYPD suffered only by the number of PAPD officers lost the same day. We should not forget firefighters who rescued so many people and then died in the towers when they fell. Let's remember, too, the victims of this tragedy and let's do everything that we can to give their families peace and courage. A lot of people get damaged and the family, The friend, and the house are lost. Therefore, I want every to know misery and sorrow accompany war. I wish for peace all over the world.(416 words)

BR 1-10: Push!
I chose a book because story was interesting. When Biff's family went to farm, a car get stuck in the mud. Biff's mom tried to push the car, but the car was stable. Children helped mother, but it was no use pushing. Then, the farmer pull by using his tractor. After that the car of Biff's family could be got out from the mud. When they pushed their car, they fell the mud by mistake!!! I thought that they are very unfortunate!!!!!
After I read the book, I want to drive with my friends. This book has various interesting story. I will recommend this book.

BR 1-09: Go Away Floppy
I chose Go Away Floppy because it looked interesting. Floppy always interrupt everyone, so everyone don't like Floppy. It made Floppy sad. So Floppy escaped from his house. Floppy's family looked for him. Finally, they found Floppy. Everyone apologize to Floppy. At last, everyone made up with him.
When I was high school student, I keeped a lot of cats. So I understood this story. If cats come my place when I study English very hard, I tend to interrupt them. Now, some people persecute the animals. So their pets became sad. For example, the animals who aren't kept are brought to health center. If we do some irresponsible actions, the animals are jeopardized. It is very sad foe me. So I think that everyone should have a sence of responsibility. If we do so, animals and we will be able to lead a pleasant life.

Reading comes slowly
My hobby is reading. I love to read books since childhood, I was often read before bedtime. The first one I reading in elementary school, this is "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was. Reading every day, while struggling to read letters about I've read it takes about 2 month. I have become a daily routine is to read a book before going to bed every night. School library is such a favorite place for me.

I like Anmitsu
Anmitsu is a Japanese traditional dessert. It has Kanten and Kuromame and we eat it with syrup. It is eaten by people of all ages. It has many variation and sometimes we eat it with ice cream or Japanese rice-cake. Anmitsu is a one of the Japanese main sweets. I want to eat Anmitsu now!!!(55 words)
