I’m going to tell you about university life and university life about 25 years from now. I have sent a full university life now. So when I was high school student, I became like study English. Then I decided to enter the KGU. I belong to the English department. So I’m second grade now. I study English hard every day. I can’t imagine university life about 25 years from now. Maybe KGU is global university in Japan.

My university life started 2 years ago. So I understood how to study English 1 years ago. But my friends teach how to study English for me. For example, how to use the PC, English grammar and so on. I remember when I was freshman, I took the English poem prize. I was so glad it was first English prize. I received a book coupon from professor of Aoyama Gakuin university. So there is my treasure. And I started training teach program from freshman. I think training teach program is so hard. But I have to study more English because I want to an English teacher in the future. Also my favorite class is American affair. So American affair is American history, introduce American giant, we were made a presentation in front of everyone and so on. But I dislike class is English grammar because I understand how to right grammar and so on. But English grammar is so important for my English skills. I must study English grammar every day.

I always go to Seven Eleven to have lunch with my friends. I love there. Because there is so convenient and always have a lot of delicious foods and snack. My favorite Seven Eleven’s food is curry noodle and salad spaghetti. So I dislike school cafeteria. There are always many people and so noisy. So I seldom go to school cafeteria. But my favorite school cafeteria’s food is large helping udon. So it is my favorite.

I think university life from 25 years now is large change from now. University’s library books are increase more than now. So E-campus center’s PC is connect time speedier and we can access to internet everywhere. And school cafeteria is so large. So I hope wherever toilets so beautiful and always keep clean. I hate dirty toilets. So I hope always keep clean toilets in university. I also want some elevators. So I wish Handicapped people always ride an elevator.

As you can see, I lead a pleasant life with my friends. So I’m really happy every day. I also have to study English, other subjects and many things. I want some qualification. And I work hard to do part-time job. So I want to try something different things.25 years later, KGU has changed lot of things. There are a lot of student in university. So everyone would have comfortable and convenient. We can access to internet easier in university. And there is international, global, traditional, historical and so on. We’ll keep our hopes up university life from now. I want to hard many things and improve my English skills. I’ll do my best.

My favorite bike

My father is busy. He works hard every day. One day, I said to him, "Father, I want a new bike. My bike is very old. The light is broken. So I'm using the same bike for 5years. Most of my friends have new bikes. Please buy a new one for me." But my father didn't say yes.
The next Sunday morning, when I was looking at my old bike, my father came out of the house and said to him, "Do you want a new bike? We can buy a new one and throw away the old one easily. But I don't like the idea. You can ride it if you repair it. Let's clean and repair it."
I don't like my father's idea. Because my bike looks chewed up. So I want a new bike. My old bike is not cool. But I have no alternative but to I cleaned the old bike with my father. We worked together for about one hour. My father said, "Ryota, you're good at cleaning and good job!" "Father, you're good at repairing and god job too." said me. We smiled at each other. So when I was smiled with father, I remembered an ancient saying is "Have at it, and have it."
It was still an old bike, but I said to my father, "Thank you for your help. I like it. I'm going to use it again because you repaired it for me. Now it is shining like a new one. Thanks so much, father." He was smiling.
I think make do and mend is important thing. So my father teach important thing for me. So I want to use the bike with caution in the days ahead. So the bike is my treasure.

Essay 2-01c: My favorite places

I will introduce about my favorite places. I have some favorite places. Where is your favorite place? First, my favorite place is Kusasenri in Aso. Do you know Kusasenri? If you live in Kumamoto, you will know there. There are always lots of people and scenic is good place. When I went to there with my friends, we could find a lot of shooting star and twinkle stars. Cows were browsing in the meadow. So I remember that I stretched myself out on the grass and soon fell asleep. I enjoyed climbing with my friends. As you can see, I like Kusasenri very much. I recommend Kusasenri.

Next, my favorite place is my house. My house is very good. I live in Musashigaoka with my family. There is very good place because there is a lot of companies and park. So it is very useful and convenient for me. My house is near the Musashigaoka elementary school, Musashigaoka junior high school and so on. When I was in junior high school student, my favorite memory was soccer club. I was practice soccer every day. I devoted myself to club activities. I love soccer very much. If you like to play soccer, would you like to play soccer with me? I often go to play soccer with my friends in there. There are very convenient places. I like there.

There is a family lived in my house. My family members are my father, my mother, my younger brother and me. I also had an older brother. But he has been employed in Siga prefecture. When I am in house, I always quarreling with my family. But my family is very good. My house is a housing estate. I want my own house. So my house is small. I’m very sad.

My room is convenient because there are a computer, a desk, a bed, a TV and sofa. When I study English, I use a computer and my desk. It is very important for me. So I am listening to music by i-pod. Essay 2-02c: My language learning experiences

I’m going to tell you about my language learning experiences. I have learned languages are three languages, Japanese, English and German. I have learned Japanese since I was elementary school student. So I have learned English since I was junior high school student. And I started studying English when I was a junior high school student.　I also had learned Germany when I entered at this university. So I choose language is German. I choose language is German. But I like to learn Hyakuninissyu. When I was junior high school student, I played it with everyone. I like the most poem is “Coarse the rush-mat roof Sheltering the harvest-hut Of the autumn rice-field; And my sleeves are growing wet With the moisture dripping through”. Next, I first learned English when I was junior high school student. It was first foreign language for me. So I was very looking forward to study English. But I remember I could not understand English. In junior high school student, I dislike English. But I entered high school; I was a little like English. So I took in part English recitation contest. I practiced right pronunciation, intonation and expression every day. But I couldn't a prize. I remember I feel frustrated. I like to learn English from this here. I want to learn more English.

Third, I first learned German in this university. Why do I select German? I heard my high school teacher and my mother that German is easier than Spanish, French and Russian. And I think so that German grammar is similar to English grammar. So I elected. But I don’t understand German. It is very difficult for me. There are many rules. For example, accent, word form and intonation and so on. Especially, word form was the most difficult rule for me. I really dislike it. So I read a textbook in German every class. So German has male and female noun and change word forms. I didn't know what these nouns were and the word forms. I remember I got confused trying to make sense of the textbook. German teaches by Mr. Yagi. He is always smirking. So he is good to use a cassette tape. So I want to study more German and go to there. I thought English is easier than German. Also, I don't want to learn Spanish. Because I heard Spanish is so difficult and teacher is worst. But I want to go on trip to Spanish. And I heard French is difficult from friends. Especially, "R" pronounce is very difficult in French. But I want to go there. There is historic country and go to Louvre Museum.

As you can see, I have learned three languages. They tell a lot of many important things for me. So I want to learn more languages. Especially, I must improve my English skills. The car called by Bertha from owner. And Bertha’s getting old, and she needs a lot of work. But the car owner wants to buy a new car. Maddy is sister. She says “Can we get a pink car?” and “A pink car would go with my new jacket”. She likes pink. So she wants a new pink car. But Jake wants a purple car. He is a main character. He thinks purple is so cool. And Dad wants a black car and Mum wants a yellow car. Dad thinks black cars always look good. Mum also thinks black car is too dark and people won’t see us coming. Let’s get a yellow car, Mum said. So they want a new car color is different.

They went to see a new car. Mum, Dad and Maddy liked the first car. But Jake dislike first car. They took another car out for a test drive. “It runs well” and “but the seats are a bit hard. Bertha’s seats are a nice and soft. ” Mum said. So They like Bertha very much. They search for a new car. But they weren’t like a car. Then they decided to remodel Bertha. So they remodeled the Bertha of taste. And they were like a car. Bertha becomes colorful car.

After I read this book, I thought it was funny at the end. And I thought they want a new car color is different, but they were remodeling a Bertha. It is so nice car. They liked it. It worked out peacefully. I was relieved to be able to resolve the issue. I read the book, I also want a car. But car is so expensive. So I recommend it.

We can change the world!!!

In the world, there are a lot of people who are alive in poor. For instance, there are about as many as 1.2 billion people (ten times the population of Japan) who are alive in little money of one dollar or less a day, too. Moreover, the saying frog and one child every about three seconds have died of poverty by about 30,000 people a day. In the earth, there is food for all members who live in the earth. There is a medicine that can treat a lot of sicknesses, too. It cannot eat the meal of every day, and it is not possible to cure, and people yet who live poorly die as would be better to be able to be cured though they are sick. Why does such poverty happen? When considering poverty, we often mention the bad financial situation that our revenues are low. But poverty has many other problems.
In addition to financial difficulty, we feel poor because we're removed from many social decisions. We feel that strongest when necessary basic rights for human lives are not allowed, we cannot control many aspects of our lives freely, we are in the position of having our powers stolen.
That kind of situation, unfair structure of society where people have their powers stolen and have disadvantage makes the fundamental reason for poverty.
That unfair structure is something we made.
In short, poverty is humans' disaster, don’t you think?
We think that a fundamental cause of poverty is in man's behavior. And, it is thought that poverty can do "Change it" by man's hand because the cause is in man's behavior.(273 words)

This novel is about a small field and track team with only ten members in a fictional college, Kansei University. The story is about how this small team aims to run in the "Hakone Long Distance Run Relay Race (ekiden)".
It is written from a runner’s perspective and the main character is Haiji.
The theme of this novel is "What is strength?” It strongly speaks to the reader to think about this.
Close to the end, you feel the team member’s strong desire to run in the race, and almost felt as if you were aiming for Hakone to run with them.
When I read this novel, I can’t control my emotions. This novel is very good.

Essay 1-02b:Breakfast

I will talk about breakfast. According to our survey, 93.8% of our subjects eat breakfast while 6.2% do not. Whether to eat breakfast or not seems to be affected by what time one may get up. The majority of those who eat breakfast get up between 6 and 7 o'clock while it is between 7 and 8 o'clock among non-eaters. Those who eat breakfast tend to eat supper between 7 and 8 o'clock in the evening while those skip breakfast tend to eat late between 9 and 10 o'clock at night. Time to get up and time to eat breakfast indicate different different daily life patterns. I eat breakfast every day. How about you?

However, the differences do not stop there.
Skipping breakfast is a contributing factor to obesity and stress. A research conducted by A. Clark at Kellog between 1988 and 1994 showed lower BMI among those eat breakfast. Further, the research also indicated particularly lower BMI among those east meat and eggs for breakfast.

In our current society where obesity has become a major health issue, these results suggest ways to reduce BMI and thus obesity. Skipping breakfast leads to increased amount of lunch and supper or sweets for snacks resulting in excessive energy intake. Also, longer period of empty stomach encourages our bodies to absorb more nutrients. Food gorging can also heighten blood sugar levels and, if continued, lead to diabetes.

Night owls should change their life styles by getting up and going to bed early. In order to switch the morning life style, supper should be finished before 9 in the evening and no more food intake should be allowed thereafter. Low fat items should be the main part of breakfast. For those who cannot eat sufficient quantity, diary products such as milk and yoghurt or vegetable juice may be a good start and gradually move to banana, toast, cornflakes, rice balls, boiled eggs all of which take longer to digest. Stay away from too much "sweets" such as Danish pastry.

Once you have gotten in the habit of eating breakfast, nutritional balance should be fine-tuned by adding Natto, grilled fish, boiled vegetable to the basic rice and miso soup(vegetable and tofu are highly recommended). Breakfast plays a very important role. Once stomach starts functioning, our bodies become aware that it is time to get moving.(390 words)

The reason why I chose this book was it looked interesting. Because I like snow. Kumamoto seldom has snow. I long to snow.

When the children were playing, teacher said "Come on." Teacher read this book for a children.
The content teacher read is about village of snow. So children want to go there. Then Chip's magic key began to glitter. And they could jump into the book. In the snow village, when they had many snowball fights and slided over the snow in sleighs, they found a boy was thrown snowballs by the young villagers. They tried to help the boy, so they fighted with the villagers. As a result, the villagers lost. Chip's group won and they could help the boy. But the villagers chased them!!! And then, the magic key began to glitter again and they went back the Chip's house.
I like this book because this story is so fantastic and thrilling! I am goin to recommend this book to you. If you like fantastic stories, I am sure you will enjoy reading this story very much!

The reason why I chose this book is about dragon that I am interested in.
I wonder if dragon is real living thing.

Kipper wanted to read the book that name is The Dragon Tree. But he couldn't read. Because he couldn't read characters. So he asked his sister to read it. But she was listening to music then. That is why Kipper asked his brother Chip to read it. Chip likes dragon.
After he read the book, the key bagan to glitter. Then Chip, Kipper and Floppy were got away to the magic world. Floppy doesn't like forest, so he was confusing then. Next, a owl attaked Floppy. Floppy run awy from the owl. So they looked for Floppy.
So they found Floppy which is bound in the tree house. They talked about what to do. Dragon to cook Floppy. So he thought how to help Floppy. They did their best. So they could rescue from dragon. But dragon chased for them. Then the key bagan to glitter. So they got back to their house. They thought it was a dream. But the dragon run in the book. So they assured that it was truth.
This story is very interesting. If this story is true story, I'm not only scared but also I'm fun.

Do you have a cell phone? With a cell phone, you can make phone calls wherever you are, send and receive e-mail, take photos and even play games. Cell phones are very useful. Now more than half of all Japanese people have a cell phone.
About ten years ago, when people started to use cell phones, there were no rules about how to use them in public places. Gradually, rules were made. In 2003, 17 railway companies in the Tokyo area started asking passengers to obey this simple rule: turn off cell phones near priority seats, and set them to silent mode in other places on the train. The next year, 20 railway companies in the Kansai area followed the Tokyo companies' example.
Now, many people switch their cell phones to silent mode on trains, but few people turn them off. They say, "The phone won't ring out loud, so it won't cause trouble to others. Sometimes I'm waiting for an emergency call. Isn't it enough to set my cell phone to silent mode?"
In fact, the answer is no. The electromagnetic waves from cell phones are dangerous for some people. Even if you do not make a phone call, a cell phone keeps generating electromagnetic waves unless you turn it off. A cell phone could cause the malfunction of medical devices such as pacemakers. Pacemakers are used by people with heart problems. Some pacemaker users say, "I feel nervous just at the sight of someone with a cell phone, so I don't like getting on the train." For such people, it is essential that all passengers turn off their cell phones near priority seats.
Cell phones are still new in our society. We still need to think about the best ways to use them.

1983 American embassy below incident

This is a fiction story which I wrote when I was freshman in America Affairs.
Look at this!!!

I was born in 1950 in the Independence city in Missouri State as three person brother's second son. I often played a trick at small time.
I loved playing basketball and continued from the elementary school to the high school. When I was a high school student, I became a captain. I feel that the compatibility of basketball with studying. And, we were possible to win the championship in the basketball at high school student end. I clearly still remember that.
I graduate from high school, I went to a higher school at Missouri state university in local. I made a real effort volunteer work. Also, I worked hard study to work at American Embassy that was the dream from small.
I married in 1978 and two children were born my children very cute. I was very happy. However, the affair occurred in 1983 after five years. When I was employed in a American embassy in Beirut on April 18.
A station wagon plunged into American embassy and the explosion event occurred.
241 people died and three my friends died. I was not able to believe that. We often went to drink alcohol by three people, talk over the complaint of our work, and did the barbecue on the weekend. My heart is pained when thinking of them. The affair was first suicide bomb attack, a lot of receive damage. I believe that nothing is more precious than human life. Now, terrorism and the war continue still. Why is there a meaning that continues the war and terrorism?
Recently, On September11, the nation suffered the largest loss of life-2,973-on its soil as result of terrorism attack in its history. The FDNY suffered 343 fatalities-the largest loss of life of any emergency response agency in history. The PAPD suffered 37fatalities-the largest loss of life any police force in history. The NYPD suffered only by the number of PAPD officers lost the same day. We should not forget firefighters who rescued so many people and then died in the towers when they fell. Let's remember, too, the victims of this tragedy and let's do everything that we can to give their families peace and courage. A lot of people get damaged and the family, The friend, and the house are lost. Therefore, I want every to know misery and sorrow accompany war. I wish for peace all over the world.(416 words)

I chose a book because story was interesting. When Biff's family went to farm, a car get stuck in the mud. Biff's mom tried to push the car, but the car was stable. Children helped mother, but it was no use pushing. Then, the farmer pull by using his tractor. After that the car of Biff's family could be got out from the mud. When they pushed their car, they fell the mud by mistake!!! I thought that they are very unfortunate!!!!!

After I read the book, I want to drive with my friends. This book has various interesting story. I will recommend this book.

When I was high school student, I keeped a lot of cats. So I understood this story. If cats come my place when I study English very hard, I tend to interrupt them. Now, some people persecute the animals. So their pets became sad. For example, the animals who aren't kept are brought to health center. If we do some irresponsible actions, the animals are jeopardized. It is very sad foe me. So I think that everyone should have a sence of responsibility. Reading comes slowly

My hobby is reading. I love to read books since childhood, I was often read before bedtime. The first one I reading in elementary school, this is "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was. Alice in Wonderland

The number of opportunities to see the 3D films in Japan has increased these days. Those films gave the Japanese film industry a big impact. An example of such would be "Avatar," a film that became a huge hit. Also, a film byTim Burton, "Alice in Wonderland" was opened in Japan on April 17. I have just saw "Alice in Wonderland." I was looking forward to see this film ever since the day of the opening was announced. I watched this film in 3D, which has been calling people's interest these days. I think the fairy-tale-like storyline of the movie was expressed better using 3D. The scene where Alice goes down the hole exemplifies this phenomenon the best. It was very wonderful that I felt like I was going down the hole with her. However, I hope that one day the 3D movies can be watched without the special glasses because, for the people who already wear glasses, it is pretty difficult to wear both their own and the special glasses at the same time for about 2 hours. This story is very funny. Wilma had a creepy-crawly. Her put in the bath. Wilma called dad. Dad come to the bath. Wilma say "Get it out". But dad couldn't it. So wilma called mum. Mum come to the bath. Wilma say "Get it out". but mum couldn't it too. Wilma looks happy. But young sister could pick up it. Everyone was surprising! I think that an intelligent person is always curious. When I was playing good old and insects. But I dislike insects now. I hate the most insects is cockroach. I think cockroach vitality is very strong. I always see the cockroach in my house. I hope to wipe out cockroaches.
I don’t recommend this because this book’s picture is not good for me. And I feel sick.

Mustn’t use cell phones while they are driving

In my opinion, people should not use cell phones while they are driving. For one thing, When they are use cell phones while driving very dangerous because they can’t lose concentration. Also, perhaps they will have an accident. In addition, driving use cell phones prohibited by the law. For example, 2600 of fatal accidents that occurred in one year in the expressway are related to the cell phone use. Moreover, a serious injury accident is 330,000 a year. These result many people had a live sacrificed for driving use cell phones accident. Dad's spade was in the hole. Next day, The hole had gone. Dad's spade was under the sand. "Let's dig," said dad. But His family were shocked.

Essay 1-02a:Breakfast

I will talk about breakfast. According to our survey, 93.8% of our subjects eat breakfast while 6.2% do not. Whether to eat breakfast or not seems to be affected by what time one may get up. The majority of those who eat breakfast get up between 6 and 7 o'clock while it is between 7 and 8 o'clock among non-eaters. Those who eat breakfast tend to eat supper between 7 and 8 o'clock in the evening while those skip breakfast tend to eat late between 9 and 10 o'clock at night. Time to get up and time to eat breakfast indicate different different daily life patterns.

However, the differences do not stop there.
Skipping breakfast is a contributing factor to obesity and stress. A research conducted by A. Clark at Kellog between 1988 and 1994 showed lower BMI among those eat breakfast. Further, the research also indicated particularly lower BMI among those east meat and eggs for breakfast.

In our current society where obesity has become a major health issue, these results suggest ways to reduce BMI and thus obesity. Skipping breakfast leads to increased amount of lunch and supper or sweets for snacks resulting in excessive energy intake. Also, longer period of empty stomach encourages our bodies to absorb more nutrients. Food gorging can also heighten blood sugar levels and, if continued, lead to diabetes.

Night owls should change their life styles by getting up and going to bed early. In order to switch the morning life style, supper should be finished before 9 in the evening and no more food intake should be allowed thereafter. Low fat items should be the main part of breakfast. For those who cannot eat sufficient quantity, diary products such as milk and yoghurt or vegetable juice may be a good start and gradually move to banana, toast, cornflakes, rice balls, boiled eggs all of which take longer to digest. Stay away from too much "sweets" such as Danish pastry.

Once you have gotten in the habit of eating breakfast, nutritional balance should be fine-tuned by adding Natto, grilled fish, boiled vegetable to the basic rice and miso soup(vegetable and tofu are highly recommended). Breakfast plays a very important role. Once stomach starts functioning, our bodies become aware that it is time to get moving. (382 words)
